Literally, next door neighbor of famous Nainital (22 kms), Bhimtal is an experience in itself.
Packed with the same pristine aura and salubrious whispers, Bhimtal takes its name from mighty Bhim (one of the Pandavas). This picturesque lake perked by an island is believed to be full of Mahabharata legands.

Nauruchiatal :
4 kms from Bhimtal. A lake with 9 corners. It is bigger and more beautiful lake then Nainital & Bhimtal, boating are main attraction.
It is directly connected with Nainital, Bhimtal, Bhowali by direct bus & private leep services.
Sattal :
13 kms from Bhowali, 24 kms Nainital and 12 kms from Bhim Tal this peaceful spot is full of scenic beauty with different Tals, boating facilities are also available.
Bhowali :
13 kms from Sat Tal. A celebrated health resort & fruits orchards area of Garhwal.

Nearest railhead is Kathgodam, 23 kms.
Road :
23 kms from Kathgodam, 22 kms. from Nainital and 11 km s from Bhowali. Regular bus service links Bhimtal with Kathgodam. Private taxies are available from Nainital, Bhowali & Haldwani.
