The exhibits
at the Mizoram State Museum document the rich cultural heritage of the
Mizo people. On view are historical relics, ancient costumes and headgear
as well as contemporary textiles, especially the brightly coloured shawls
woven with symbolic motifs- Also displayed are the traditional utilitarian
objects, cooking and other domestic vessels, baskets, agricultural
implements and weapons.
