The Nandan Museum has rich collection of original paintings by the Tagores: Rabindranath, Abanindranath, Gaganendranath and other artists from the Bengal school: Nandaial Bose, Binod Behari Mukherjee and Ram Kinkar. Also on view are terracotta panels and images from Bengal, folk and tribal bronzes, Kalighalpatas. Besides these there are collections of Chinese and Japanese scroll paintings.
