Rajasthan: Government Yogic Treatment Cum
Research Centre, Jaipur
There are
numerous centres In India for yoga but this Is perhaps the only centre
which has been established by the Government of any state In the country.
Founded in the year 1961 by the. Government of Rajasthan, the centre has a
fully equipped laboratory and qualified naturopaths. The centre offers
services to cure diseases like diabetes, asthma and intestinal disorders,
besides teaching and research in yogic methods. Generally, the centre
provides free boarding, lodging and treatment to the indoor patierits. No
medicines of any kind are used here.
The centre is located just
opposite to the University of Rajasthan between the premises of Nature
Cure Centre and Yoga Sadhana Ashram at Bapu Nagar, Jaipur.
