Medicare: Prevantive Health Care




Preventive health care has been introduced for the first time in the country by Apollo Hospitals with hospitals in the metros of Hyderabad, Chennai and Delhi, within easy international air access. The professional chain also pioneered the concept of lifesytle clinics, established the first corgan registry in the country and introduced non-invasive technique for treatment of lesions and thumours of the brain- Stereotactic Radio Surgery and Radio therapy in the country. The hospital boasts a transplant team with 8 specialists, bone marrow transplant team alongwith five specialists on call to Sri Lanka, Sharjah, Kuwait and major Indian cities.

In Chennai, the Vijaya Heart Foundatin's 79 beds has a state-of-the-art cardiology and cardio-thracic surgical unit manned by competent and experienced staff. The Vijaya Health Centre with 170 beds, offers diagnostic facilities in laboratory, X-ray, ultrasond, treadmill, endoscopy, C.T.Scan, M.R.I. and nucler medicine.
